The objective of this complete interior remodel was to maintain the existing functionality and add a bathroom without adding square footage. The solution was to convert a powder room into a three-quarter Jack-and-Jill bathroom. Changing this reconfigured the floorplan, and in the process we updated the finishes and flooring throughout the house.
The objective in this project was to create a clean, bright, modern home for a growing family from the existing outdated, dark space of only 940 sf. The entire home was updated with new mechanical, electrical, plumbing, lighting, new kitchen, flooring closets, and finishes throughout; the exterior was given smooth stucco, new windows and doors, landscaping, front and rear patios, and redwood feature wall.
While the bones of the house were to stay the same, this project focused on giving the interior space a complete refresh. Starting by gutting much of the interior created a clean slate for new finishes and other updated elements. We created a home theater from an existing space, and created a cohesive design feel throughout the house. To bring the design full circle, we added in new landscape elements outside.
