Our principal architect, Lauren, will work with you to determine the project scope and program, create an original design, and manage our project team to provide you with a high level of service and attention to detail. You will be introduced to Nicole, our architectural project manager, as you start your journey with us, and she will guide you through our project process from start to finish. From our principal architect to our job captain you can expect a high level of design detail and friendly updates from our team. We’re proud to have an all-female architectural team in a male dominated industry and value their efforts towards licensure and continuing education.

We have developed a 9-Step design process over the past 10+ years which ensures your project is completed to our high standards. All projects start with a due diligence report to explore your options, create timelines, and ensure what you want built can be done given your property limitations and code requirements. We work with the latest technology to create as-builts and conceptual designs that give you a real-life example of what the end result will look like. Once we’ve selected the preferred design it’s full steam ahead! We focus on the technical drawings and consultant work needed to complete the plan check process. We prepare construction documents needed to build the project and work with you to pick out materials and fixtures throughout the home. Once construction begins, we coordinate with the field to ensure that what we’ve designed is built to our drawings and standards.

Letter Four understands not only the design side of our industry but the construction side as well. Handling both the design and building aspects of your project allows us to better control the outcome, ensuring what we’ve designed for you is what gets built. Have a builder of your own? That’s fine too! Once your plans are finalized, we’ll make sure you have all necessary documentation for bidding and will work with your contractor to ensure a desirable outcome.
