Our mission for this second story addition and full remodel was to convert a small standard bungalow into beach cottage with ample room for a growing family. We opened up the floor plan, with a clear view from the front entry through to the back yard and introduced more natural light throughout. This craftsman style home includes built-ins and custom millwork to be consistent with the style of the home and to maximize storage. Vaulted ceilings in the dining room and master bedroom help to make those rooms feel especially spacious and the soothing color palette speaks to the home’s proximity to the beach.
