LETTER FOUR was hired for full Design-Build services to create this eclectic modern home in Santa Monica. We used varied textures and materials with a nod to the mid-century modern era for this three-level home, plus rooftop area. The central stair is the main design element that ties together all levels with a slatted wood vertical feature. The kitchen is appointed with beautiful walnut cabinetry and natural quartz counter tops. Each bathroom includes Heath Tile, custom vanities, and mixed metal plumbing fixtures and hardware. We installed new basalt tile inside and out on the main living level and central patio to unify the spaces and create an indoor-outdoor flow when the sliding glass paneled walls are opened.
